The Japan Strategic Readiness Program (JSRP) is an intervention process, not a course. Your meetings, your proposal, your counterpart — analysed between sessions, redesigned in them, rehearsed before the moment that matters.

The shape of the work
You will see us for about an hour at a time. The work that moves your deal happens between those hours — on your documents, your meeting records, your counterpart's signals.
For every session hour, several hours of case analysis surround it. That ratio is the difference between advice and intervention — and it is why the artefacts you keep are built from your actual deal, not from templates about Japan.
Your proposals, minutes, correspondence and reporting — read the way the Japanese side reads them.
In the session itself we decide, correct and rehearse. The mapping, drafting and rebuilding happen around it — and arrive back to you as working documents.
The process
A staged engagement over four to eight weeks. Each stage ends in a working document — and you decide at each gate whether to continue.
A 90-minute case interview plus a review of your proposals, minutes and correspondence. If the blockage is price, product or contract terms rather than culture — the report says so.

The Diagnostic stands on its own. If the report shows the blockage is not something we should work on, it ends here — with your map of why.
We confirm the findings with your team, fix the scope — which decision, which meeting, which counterpart — and set the success measures.
The formal owner and the real influencer are rarely the same person. We map who carries the decision, where consensus stands, and which risks the Japanese side is actually managing.
We rewrite your message into a form your counterpart can defend inside their own organisation, then design the before-and-after of every meeting: what to confirm, what not to decide, how to document.
A live simulation of the meeting, negotiation or HQ presentation you are preparing for. We correct the message, the sequence and the follow-through — then build the operating plan your team runs after we leave.
What you keep
Every engagement leaves six artefacts inside your team, built from your actual deal. Shown below with client details removed.
Scope, stakeholders, success measures, weekly rhythm.
Who carries the decision — formally and actually.
What silence, delay and repeat questions mean in this deal.
Your proposal, rebuilt so the other side can defend it internally.
Before, during and after every meeting — designed, not improvised.
Owners, deadlines, checkpoints, early-warning signs.
The boundaries

We help European and Japanese organisations operate together — on the work itself.
The sequence above bends around your deal: an imminent negotiation moves the rehearsal forward; a chronic HQ issue deepens the mapping.
If the diagnostic shows the blockage is price, product or contract terms, the report says exactly that — and the engagement can end there.
What we commit to: clarity, preparation, progression and executability. The decision remains theirs — our work makes it possible.

JSRP - Advisory keeps the discipline running: pre-meeting preparation, debriefs, proposal review and response analysis — twice a month, three to six months.
About AdvisoryAn NDA is signed before we read anything. Standard template available — or yours.
How we work →Storage, retention, deletion and sub-processors — documented and public.
Data policy →We do not advise both parties to the same negotiation. Conflict policy in writing.
Conflict policy →A 30-minute call, then — if it fits — a fixed-scope Diagnostic with a report you keep either way. You decide at every gate whether to continue.
